Learn In The Dirt!

The Hill Farm is a 2-acre urban farm located in the heart of Allison Hill. It is an operational veggie farm and educational resource center. Its mission is to address the need foraccess to healthy foods and the tools for healthy living.

Come enjoy a 2-hour educational experience with our knowledgeable instructors that can be tailored to the needs of your group.

Outdoor Classroom Experience
Cost: $2/Student/Hour 

• - Each trip includes a tour of our commercial growing space, native pollinator habitat, and educational garden with fascinating varieties of common foods.
• - Students will be able to taste test foods that are currently in season.
• - All trips will include a take-home activity for students to foster continued and shared learning (seedling, wildflower bombs, craft, etc.)
• - Each group will receive a small nutritious snack as part of their experience

Give your class hands-on experience on agriculture, biology, and environmental topics!

Educational Field Trip Experience
Cost: $8 per student

• - Come to the farm and conduct your classroom lesson in our educational space.
• - Time and duration of the visit can be flexible based on your learning needs.
• - Farm staff will give a tour of the commercial growing area and educational garden upon request.
• - Seedlings or other growing materials can be made available for additional cost.

It’s your classroom, just outside!

The instructional experience is based on the USDA Farm to School curriculum and includes a variety of topics tailored to your group's grade level.
