Ryan Johns

Ryan (Farmer Johns) is the Farm Manager for The Hill Farm. He is responsible for maintaining the mission and vision of the farm as a commercial-educational space that serves the community. At any moment you could find him playing in the dirt, jamming out on a spreadsheet, or hanging out with community members at The Hill Farm Market Stand. 

Ryan has a background in Education and Youth Ministry. His wife is a Dietician for Hamilton Health Center in Allison Hill. Hearing her stories of the resiliency of the community in the midst of being an underserved population inspired Ryan to grow food in their home garden to share with the community. His heart for people and food has led Ryan to The Hill Farm. 

When not farming, Ryan will either be watching Philly sports, doing something nerdy, or hanging with his kids.
