Over the past two decades, as a new home salesperson, real estate investor, lending professional, and minister, I have repeatedly demonstrated an acute knowledge of the local market trends. This is evidenced in my track record of hundreds of successful real estate sales. I have also shown a willingness to share my success by giving helpful training and advice to prospective real estate investors. As a mortgage lender I have been instrumental in providing quality service and expert advice to my clients. My career began as a loan officer with Jack Gauhen Realtor, servicing agents with alternative financing. I have facilitated FHA, VA, Conventional and Non-conventional mortgages as a loan officer and mortgage broker. As an investor I have sold privately funded mortgages to aide customers in the purchase of investment properties. I have also provided low cost refinance loans to these same customers. Ugly House Depot clients rely on my advice to provide the best lending scenarios to help them achieve their financial goals.
Most recently I have ventured into the insurance industry by creating the Lawson Group Insurance agency. Our specialized market will be personal lines with an emphasis on homeowner’s protection. I have also tried my hand in local politics. I ran a strong campaign for Harrisburg City Council. While I did not ultimately win the seat, my views and contributions changed the course of the campaign. I had a relatively strong showing for a 1st time candidate, finishing 5th in a field of 13. This experience has strengthened my ties to the community. My passion lies with my mission as an associate minister with St. Paul’s Baptist Church. We are a historically significant African American church in Harrisburg, PA.
